Sometimes when the words flow freely and you know your muse is upon you need to go back to wherever you write and place your thoughts upon the page.
That’s what brings me here and why I have already placed the finer parts elsewhere not knowing if they belong here or ought to be best left in the kingdom.
I had a dream that had slipped my mind in which I shared the tale in its entirety and was told that it was the kiss that changed everything.
There were multiple people who participated in this ethereal adventure and at least two were angels although only one would respond to being described as such.
Not unlike many dreams I woke up feeling like I had lived a lifetime among the parts that stick out most was the creature that was the angel placings its fingers upon my lips.
It said something about forgetting everything that had taken place and not falling to the despair of almost forgetting which isn’t all that different from almost remembering.
I didn’t like such instruction and pushed back against it a bit claiming I would move heaven and earth to get to where I needed to be.
“You can tell the tale but you cannot be certain those who hear it will believe, listen or remember.”
Will You Live Today Or Wait For Tomorrow
It sounds like a bad fortune in a cookie you’d open at a cheap Chinese restaurant but it is among the soundest advice one can receive.
Will you live today or wait for tomorrow. I know many who pass the days saying eventually they will make the move or take the chance they have always wanted to take.
But very few live, most pretend to and dream about what they hope may some day be.
I made the choice and am moving forward into it. Standing at the crossroads and juxtaposition of that which was as we move into what which may yet be.
It is a place of fear, anxiety and exhilaration merged with hope. A whirlwind which is likely to push you off of the cliff and demand you fly or fall.
Your anger and frustration don’t serve you because no one listens to that which you bellow and moan about.
They only follow that which you choose to do. They follow your actions and respond to that alone. The ship you’re piloting is connected to your eyes and moves in whatever direction they do.
Look towards the rocks and you’ll crash, look towards the stars and that is where you’re headed. But race too fast and too freely towards that which you are not prepared for and you may find something other than what you hoped or expected to.
You can choose to drink a cup filled with fear or sail on a wind of hope.
It is up to you.
