I wasn’t interested in their suggestion about the end of random thoughts because it made no sense to me.
Thoughts aren’t always regimented or organized though there are times when that is a sensible approach. I chose not to share my reaction and response with them because they didn’t merit that kind of time or attention from me.
Though I did concede that sometimes devising a list of things to do is useful but even if I had done so I wouldn’t have set up the appointment with the cardiologist.
No sir and no ma’am.
Not because I have been arguing with people about what a genocide is or isn’t either. It is hard for me to understand how people can say that it is taking place when less than 2% percent of a population has been killed, especially when that number includes combatants.
You need to provide intent as well and if you can’t provide that you need to withdraw the accusation.
Furthermore those who say the court has found plausible grounds make me scratch my head too. Plausible means possible but it is not a conviction nor proof of anything.
If I was dressed in a Dodgers uniform and stood in center field in Dodger Stadium it might be plausible to say I am a player for the Dodgers. That is possible as is it is plausible that I could run for the Democratic nomination for president in Chicago this summer.
Ultimately the court wouldn’t render a verdict saying I play for the Dodgers or that I am running for the nomination though both are plausible.
But let’s not get caught up in technicalities or facts, they only create issues.
Eat What You Are Fed
I was asked again why I must question information that has been presented and I responded as I often do.
“Eat what you are fed is something you tell children when they are young. It is not what you want out of adults.”
I am not someone who questions anything and everything because many things don’t require it for a variety of reasons such as past experience.
I know to check if a pot on a stove is hot prior to touching it. I know to accept certain things from people who have established credibility and or expertise in specific areas.
Outside of those rather wide guardrails there are many possibilities that I explore before I accept or push back against what is handed to me.
There is nothing wrong with asking questions especially when you don’t understand. There is importance in asking the right questions because those are the ones that lead to education and enlightenment.
They also often lead to more questions but that is not necessarily a bad thing, sometimes it is very important. If you don’t take time to explore your thoughts and beliefs you are missing out.

It is Time To Go Home which is why I have my fingers crossed the weather will not be as nasty as some predict it might be.
If I haven’t mentioned it I am tired of living in interesting times and ready to live in the mundane again.
Mitch Mitchell
When has life ever been mundane? I know periods seem that way, but they almost always seem to lead to something. ๐

I have this fantasy where it has been slow, simple and easy for extended periods.
