Every so often I like to share links that caught my eye and are worth your attention:
Jon Buscall’s blog is filled with lots of rich material. His podcast is worth listening to on a regular basis. Try Michelle Quillin talks Social Media Strategy or Mark Schaefer and the Future of Blogging and tell me what you think.
I really enjoyed The problem with white space (And what you need to know about design) and I always like Three Things at Spin Sucks. Since I know some of you are surfing challenged I’ll point you to the Vanity Fair article about James Bond that Gini linked to. No pix of Barista Boy in that one.
Jayme has been tearing it up lately with Your Blog Headline Sucks, Does Your Blog Have Spinach In Its Teeth? and How Not To Use Triberr.
Over at Mitch Joel’s place I recommend checking out Digging Deep Into Facebook Marketing. Jens asks Do you need to use images in blog posts?
Don’t forget to read Stop Making Excuses for not Building a List! 4 Ideas for Great Emails at For Bloggers By Bloggers.
Adrienne shared 2012 List Of My Favorite WordPress Plug-ins. Who doesn’t enjoy a good rant? I certainly do which is why I direct you go Rules of Enragement: A Rant and Death to Busy Work.
I Owe You A Debt of Gratitude
Eleven days ago I asked for your help and received a tremendous response. My request was for you to help me build my social media footprint and you did great. The number of Facebook followers increased by more than 30% and Twitter received a similar response as well.
I can’t thank you enough. It is gratifying to see the response and to see it still coming in.
Stay tuned, more good stuff coming soon.
Gini Dietrich
Maybe no picture of barista boy, but Daniel Craig is very easy on the eyes.
Josh
I’ll take your word for it, I bat for the other team. ๐ Really did enjoy the article, although I noticed that some of the same material from the article is showing up in other publications. That is sloppy work, but has nothing to do with you.
Tim Bonner
Hey Josh
I know some of these and certainly enjoyed reading them and those I don’t know I’ve added to my RSS feed to read later.
Thanks for sharing.
Tim
Josh
Hi Tim,
It is my pleasure. Hope you enjoy.
Craig McBreen
Hey Josh,
Thanks for the mention!
Funny, I just listened to Jon’s interview with Michelle Quillin this morning. Quality stuff and some solid info on the small business trying to use social to find local clients. I also enjoyed the Mark Schaefer interview, wish that one was a bit longer, actually.
Another fine list and I’ll check out the others.
Josh
Hi Craig,
It was a good post and it resonated with me. The podcast is good. Jon does a good job of taking an interview and turning it into a conversation.
Schaefer was good too. Hope you enjoy the rest and your day.
Adrienne
Ah Josh, great minds think alike! We have similar posts today and I appreciate you including mine here.
You’ve just given me some new blogs to visit. New to me I might add.
Looking forward to checking them out and thanks so much for sharing them with us. You have a great week.

Josh
Hi Adrienne,
It was my pleasure. I really enjoyed your list and thought many others would enjoy it too.
Carolyn
Wow, Josh, you and Adrienne are keeping me busy this morning. Thanks for linking to these quality posts. Some I’ve read, some I’ve been meaning to read and others I had not yet discovered.
I now have my day cut out for me! In a good way, of course…
Josh
Hi Carolyn,
Yeah, Adrienne helped me schedule some time for reading today too. Hope the weather is treating you well.
Jayme Soulati
Thanks for this threefer and the acknowledgment that I’m a #RockHot kinda gal. In all seriousness, something has clicked on the way to the forum…not sure what, why or whatever, but I’m ridin’ it!
Love this wrap as I needed to get to Jon’s to listen to both those podcasts; now they’re neatly right here. XO, Friend.
Josh
Well Jayme, when you do good I’ll be here to let you know and when you don’t. ๐
Jon Buscall
Thank you SO much for sharing the link to my podcast. It’s a lot of work to produce but immensely worth it, not least of all for the way it’s brought me into contact with so many interesting and thought-provoking people.
Jayme Soulati
Listening right now to the podcast with Michelle…awesome!!
Josh
Hi Jon,
It is quite well done and I am very pleased you do it. Would be a shame not to help promote it.
Jens P. Berget
That’s awesome Josh. The only post on the list I had actually read was Adrienne’s about her plug-ins. I’ve been to busy with the kitchen ๐
Josh
Hi Jens,
I am not surprised. Construction can keep you busy. ๐
Brian D. Meeks
Thanks for including my rant in your list. I think I’ll check out some of the links that I haven’t read, yet.
Josh
Hi Brian,
My pleasure. Thank you for the post.
Erin Feldman
Thanks for linking to my post!
You shared a lot of good-looking resources. I think I have some additional reading materials for the week.
Josh
Hi Erin,
I feel the same way about busy work and in the spirit of trying to have it banished from our lives I had to share your post.
