Someone once asked me to list my dream jobs and I quickly rattled off the following:
- Power forward for the Los Angeles Lakers.
- Center Fielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
- Middle Linebacker for the Oakland Raiders.
- The Dread Pirate Roberts.
I am sorry to say that unless I buy the aforementioned sports teams I am unlikely to be able list any of those positions on my resume. The good news is that the window to work as The Dread Pirate Roberts is still open.
Unless I am mistaken and there is some sort of organization or club to which pirates must belong I shouldn’t have any problems assuming the role and responsibilities of a pirate, and even if there were an organization that pirates are supposed to belong to I wouldn’t care because I am a pirate. Pirates don’t spend much time wondering or worrying about rules, at least the good pirates don’t and I would be an excellent pirate.
The good news for you is that I don’t own a ship and am not in the market to purchase one so if you are in need of my expertise I am available for hire. I have a variety of skills that I have honed over the years that includes content marketing, social media, sales/business development and much more.
That experience includes an active security clearance and a background that includes time spent working with multiple size companies ranging from the start up to the Fortune 500.
