Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night
and wouldn’t you love to love her?
She rules her life like a bird in flight
and who will be her lover?
All your life you’ve never seen
a woman taken by the sky.
Well would you stay if she promised to you heaven?
Would you even try?
And he says, “Rhiannon, Don’t go.”
And he says, “Rhiannon, stay.”
And he says, “I still cry out for you.
Don’t leave me, don’t leave me.”
Rhiannon (Version From The Dance)
Stevie is mid-song when I push the button that tells WordPress to install the new theme and for a brief time she sings one of those songs that makes people debate what it means or doesn’t mean.
I don’t have time to consider whether it is autobiographical or just something that sounded good to her because I am busy ignoring my advice to look before you leap.
Well, maybe not ignoring it but massaging it to fit my current need because I am following a gut feeling that now is the time to move on making the change and that I have a strong enough handle to do it without major concerns.
Sometimes you have to grab your bag on start walking down or alongside the tracks to see where they will take you.
It is part of the joy of the journey and the adventure you choose to go upon knowing full well that you never be fully prepared for everything that comes along.
There Are Bumps & Hiccups
If you are reading this post somewhere around October 11 or 12th it would not surprise me if you found a couple of rough spots or glitches.
Wouldn’t surprise me if you found some bumps and hiccups floating around this place but I am not worried because you can’t make changes without encountering some of those.
There are moments to be cautious and times when you shouldn’t fear to call down the thunder because if you don’t push yourself you’ll never figure out what you are really capable of.
And if you are like me you do better when you test your limits and push yourself. It keeps you more engaged and more conscious about what you are doing.
A Blog Lives In A Dynamic Environment
Blogs live and die in a dynamic environment. If the goal is to create a better reading experience and provide you with something more than this is how it has to be.
There is no IT or graphic arts department. There is just me, Josh, the old guy typing at the keyboard and learning more about building and running a blog than I would if I did nothing but write content.
I may not be an expert at design or working with code but I know a little something about it all because I am not afraid to step out of my comfort zone.
And I know these things by having been willing to break the blog and to use the resources at hand to fix it.
Stick around for a while and if things go well you’ll see the rough spots hear disappear and see this place turn into something bright and shiny.
See you in the comments.
Adrienne
Hey Josh,
So I’m getting by here a few days after those dates but I hear ya. Someone asked me yesterday about my blogging journey and I told him I’m still the lone ranger. I do everything myself and I’ll be changing themes soon so I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn’t end up being a complete nightmare. LOL!!! I’m no tech person and can’t fix everything but I sure give it my best.
Like the new theme and by the way, I was singing along to the song. Oh yeah, who doesn’t know that one!
Here’s to our blogging journey my friend, rock on!

Hey Adrienne,
It is good to see you here. I know that Lone Ranger feeling because I tend to do most of the work myself too. But some of our blogging friends have been very gracious with their time so I always have access to help.
It makes it much easier.
Hope you have a great weekend.
