A reader asked me if I could provide them with a simple tip to try and generate more engagement on their blog. I suggested they ask a simple question that people could relate to and offered to try demonstrating how effective it can be by doing the same on my blog.
So today I am here to ask you to share which household chore you dislike the most.
I hate, er HATE doing the dishes and yes you can blame that on my parents. Won’t see me in therapy because of it but I can assure you that out of all of the chores I had to do growing up this is the one I tried to avoid like the plague.
Can’t tell you exactly why other than it felt like there was always an endless pile of dishes on the counter and sink and no matter what I did it felt like it took hours to finish.

What chore did/do you dislike the most? Share it in the comments.

I hate paperwork. I am not just cut out for the job. I believe that paperwork and me have a long history of animosity. I have misplaced many documents because I could not file them in neat folders lol ( that is part of paperwork, I feel )
With time I have improved though but my paperwork would still get D-

I understand. Paper work is a serious grind.

Hi Josh
Had to laugh when I seen the title. It was no problem coming up with a quick answer. It has always been my answer for years, DUSTING!
Hate dusting with a passion. It is a job in futility, no one notices ever, unless everything is dusty! I would rather clean the bathroom on my hands and knees for hours than spend 10 minutes of dusting. I suppose that pretty much sums up how much I hate dusting. I do it when I absolutely have to (such as company coming or too many cat prints showing up the lack of dusting). My answer to my husband, although he knows by now, is “if bothers you, you know where the duster is”. He prefers a duster, which I don’t think does such a great job. A rag works better, but by the time I get around to do it, it needs a damp rag!
Yep, you can probably get a good stir out of some folks on this subject. You got me over here fast!

Hi Mary,
I can see that. Dusting is one of those things I mind less because it takes no time to do or so it has always seemed to me.
But I agree that it often feels pointless.
